WELCOME TO GREATER
WORSHIP WITH US
We'd love to have you join us on Sunday for our Morning Worship Service at 11:00 am. Got here early? Join us for Sunday School at 10:00 am. We also have a Midweek Service at 6 pm, thirty minutes in the word. At Greater, we are a church of faith and love!
Where are you located?
Greater Pleasant Grove Baptist Church is located at 1270 Golf Course Road, Unionville, LA 71235.
What time is service?
On Sunday, we have our Sunday School class starting at 10:15 AM. Our Morning Worship Service starts at 11:15 AM. Between services (about 15 mins), we offer a free continental breakfast to fill your physical soul before we feed your spiritual soul.
Where do I park?
We do not have designated parking for our members or guests (besides the reserved parking for our pastor). You may park anywhere on our lot as long as it does not block any exterior doors.
What should I wear?
At Greater, we do not enforce a strict code of attire. You may see us dressed up on first Sundays as that is when we have our communion services. However, we want you to come as you are to Christ, t-shirts, blue jeans, and all.
Is there something for my kids?
Unfortunately, at this time, we do not offer any worship service child care. We would love to have someone take on that ministry, so please reach out to us if you have a calling to work with our youth.
Is there something for youth?
Unfortunately, at this time, we do not offer any youth activities during our worship service. We would love to have someone take on that ministry, so please reach out to us if you have a calling to work with our youth.
What does a typical service look like?
Greater Pleasant Grove only offers one type of service. Our service is a combination of the traditional-style mixed with elements of contemporary-style.
At our 11:15 AM service, you can expect to hear those elements at play.
Our service opens with contemporary Praise and Worship selections from our choir. Then, we go in to our scripture, hymn of the month, and prayer. There are two musical selections from our choir throughout the service. And we end with a sermon delivered by our pastor or one of our ministers.
