Online giving is the act of giving to a church to make a donation or to pay tithes and offerings. Online giving is conducted over the internet.
2. What platform does Greater use for online giving?
Greater Pleasant Grove Baptist Church uses Tithe.ly for collecting online giving.
3. Are there fees associated with online giving?
Yes, there are fees associated with online giving.
When you give with a credit/debit card, the fee is 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction.
When you give using ACH/Bank Transaction, the fee is 1.0% plus $0.30 per transaction
4. What does the "Cover Fees" option do?
When fees are covered, you will be assessed the appropriate fee (see Q.3) in order to cover the bank processing fees

When fees are not covered, you will not be assessed any fee (see Q.3) in order to cover the bank processing fees. However, the amount that you give will register less on our end. For example, if you give $100 dollars with your card, and not cover the fees, the amount will register as $96.80.
5. How do I change what fund I want to give to?
There are three main funds to give to. Offering, Tithes, and Building Fund. You can also select Other (Use Memo line) and use the text box below to specify where your funds are applied.
Locate the box labeled, "To: Offering".

6. Is online giving secure?
According to Tithe.ly FAQs, All financial information is encrypted and stored by our banking partner to PCI DSS Level 1 compliant standards. PCI DSS Level 1 compliance is a set of rules stated by credit card companies and audited by an independent third party. It is the highest possible rating one can get in the electronic payment processing industry. Additionally, Tithe.ly forces HTTPS for all transaction services using TLS. In other words, yes, online giving is safe and secure!

Click on about, then scroll to "Give Today"
When live, when the end of the service comes, look for "Give Today" in the description to give.
YOUTUBE
On desktop, navigate to the upper right and click on "Donate".
