Sunday, August 11, is our Back to School Day. We will bless and pray for our children as they are preparing to return to school this fall.

Today, we enjoyed ourselves out at Lake D'Arbonne State Park. There was good food, games, family, fun, and tunes! We would like to thank the men for preparing all of that amazing food today and for organizing the event. Can't wait for next year!

Join us as we celebrate our Homecoming 2019, "Homecoming During a Fruitful Season", Sunday, July 28, at 3 P.M. Guests are Pastor Brandon Crew and the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church Family out of Ruston, LA. Hope to see you there!

Today, we recognized all of our fathers and future fathers during our morning services. On behalf of the men, we would like to thank all of the amazing church women who made everything possible, from the breakfast to the door prizes. Happy Father's Day!

During our services today, we welcomed a new member, Sis. Hayden Dean (Baptism). Again, we would like to say welcome to Greater Pleasant Grove and your new life in Christ!

On Father's Day, we will have a breakfast served in the fellowship hall from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m. All fathers are cordially invited.

During our services today, we welcomed two new members; Bro. Anthony Gray (Baptism) and Sis. Sabrina Thompson. Again, we would like to say welcome to Greater Pleasant Grove and your new life in Christ!

Today in church, we recognized our youth that recently graduated from high school. These youth are active in their church (musicians) and are passionate for seeking greater things in life. The two recognized youth are Bro. Tyron Williams (Left) and Bro. Gabriel Harrison (Right). Bro. Tyron says that he wants to immediately join the workforce this summer. He currently has no plans on attending a university. Bro. Gabriel says that he would like to attend Louisiana Tech University (not GSU) and seek the education required to become a social studies teacher in high school. Bro. Gabriel currently has plans to work at the Lincoln Parish Triad on a work-study.
